Our Safety Standards

At BGMG Cosmetics, safety isn’t a checkbox, it’s our culture.

From your first consultation to your last follow-up, every decision we make is designed to protect your health, ensure predictable outcomes, and give you a calm, confident experience.

Our Safety Promise

  • Certified surgeons & trained team: Your procedure is performed by certified cosmetic surgeons supported by experienced nurses and clinical staff.
  • Patient-first protocols: We customize every plan to your medical history, anatomy, and goals, never one-size-fits-all.
  • Transparent care: Clear risks, benefits, alternatives, and recovery timelines so you can make informed decisions without pressure.

Facility & Environment

Hospital-grade standards

  • Dedicated procedure rooms with strict sterile technique and controlled airflow practices.
  • Instruments are cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized according to current best practices. Single-use items are discarded after every case.
  • Rigorous room turnover between patients with documented checklists and sign-offs.

Cleanliness you can feel

  • Hand hygiene stations throughout the clinic
  • Medical-grade surface disinfectants
  • Daily and per-case cleaning logs audited by our clinical lead

Candidacy & Pre-Op Screening

Your safety starts long before surgery.

  • Comprehensive health review: Medical history, meds/supplements, allergies, prior surgeries, and lifestyle factors (e.g., nicotine).
  • Vitals & labs as indicated: We order tests only when they improve safety and decision-making.
  • Medication safety: We review all prescriptions and supplements to avoid interactions (e.g., blood thinners, herbals).
  • Realistic planning: We align your goals with what’s safe for your body, sometimes that means staging procedures rather than doing too much at once.
  • Informed consent: Plain-English discussion of risks, benefits, and alternatives. You’ll know exactly what to expect.

When we say “not now,” it’s to protect you. We may recommend weight stabilization, smoking cessation (typically 4–6 weeks), or a medical clearance before proceeding.

Anesthesia & Intra-Op Monitoring

  • Qualified anesthesia providers select the safest anesthesia type for the procedure and your health profile.
  • Continuous monitoring: Oxygen saturation, blood pressure, ECG, and end-tidal CO₂ as appropriate from start to finish.
  • Medication safety protocols: Patient identity and medication double-checks; allergy flags visible to the entire team.

BBL & High-Safety Techniques (Procedure-Specific)

For procedures such as Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), we follow conservative, evidence-aligned techniques to reduce risk:

  • Subcutaneous-only fat placement (avoiding intramuscular injection) to minimize fat embolism risk.
  • Blunt, appropriately sized cannulas and controlled, single-plane, continuous-motion technique.
  • Depth awareness: Real-time anatomic control; optional ultrasound guidance where clinically appropriate.
  • Strict volume limits tailored to your anatomy and safety profile.
  • Staging policy: If needed, we stage procedures rather than exceed safe volumes in a single session.

Blood Clot (DVT/PE) & Complication Prevention

  • Personalized risk scoring and prevention plans (compression, early ambulation, and medication when indicated).
  • Temperature & fluid management to support circulation and recovery.
  • No rushing policy: We schedule appropriate time per case to prioritize meticulous technique and safety checks.

Infection Control

  • Pre-op skin prep and antimicrobial protocols matched to your procedure.
  • Sterile field integrity: Gowning, gloving, and draping with active field surveillance by our circulating nurse.
  • Post-op wound care education with written and video instructions.

Emergency Preparedness

Even with excellent prevention, readiness matters.

  • On-site emergency equipment (e.g., crash cart, airway tools) checked and documented.
  • ACLS/BLS-trained team with regular simulation drills.
  • Clear escalation pathways and transfer arrangements if hospital care is in your best interest.

Pain Control & Recovery

  • Modern, multimodal pain plans to reduce opioid use where possible.
  • Nausea prevention protocols tailored to your risk.
  • Safe aftercare instructions printed and sent digitally to you and your caregiver.

Post-Op Follow-Up & 24/7 Support

  • Proactive check-ins (virtual and in-clinic) to monitor healing and answer questions.
  • Direct line for concerns, 24/7: If something feels off, you will always reach a clinician.
  • Scar care, garment use, and activity timelines personalized to your procedure and healing pace.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Case reviews & peer feedback: We regularly review outcomes to refine protocols.
  • Supply chain vetting: We source implants, sutures, and devices from reputable manufacturers.
  • Patient feedback loop: Every review and survey informs coaching and process updates.
